Casement Windows
Casement windows has hinges on one side open like door. A casement window has no rail. Most casement windows have a hand crank but others are pushed open. Screens are placed on the inside of the window. For installing over a sink, countertop or appliance, a casement window with a crank is good choice. Casement windows can open to the Left or Right. They also offer more glass per square foot, leaving your view with fewer obstructions. They open 90º to allow for easy cleaning from the inside. Mechanical hardware on casement windows requires maintenance and lubrication.
Slider windows
Horizontal Slider windows slide Right or Left in a channel. Since they just slide and not open outward, they are good choice for rooms facing walkways, patios or porches. They are easy to clean. Since sash (moving part of the window) just slides so thy have less wear and tear
Awning Windows
Awning are part of Casement series. They open 90º upward about the hinge by cranking a handle. They enable ventilation without letting in rain or falling leaves. Awning windows are good for basements as they can be placed high on the wall and easily operate with a turn of the handle
Arch Windows
The bottom half of the window is rectangular while the top is an arch or half-circle Oval Window: Radius windows include circular shapes, half circles and arched tops. Geometric Window: Windows that have fix geriatric shapes, as triangle, pentagon etc.
Shaped/Rake Windows
Windows whose shaped is adjusted according the slope of roof or any specific shape as per customer demand.
Picture windows are fixed windows that do not open. They are installed to let light in but difficult to reach place and where ventilation is not a concern.
Custom
Custom window are windows that are not of rectangular shape. They can be Circular, Oval, Arch, Pentagon, Rake type. They are usually added as top part of slider windows in front of the house to look beautiful.
